Prayers are requested for the family of Patsy Bowling who did pass away very suddenly on Sunday after having had several heart attacks.  Pray for comfort and peace for the family during this difficult time.

Please be in prayer for the family of Mary McCloy who passed away this afternoon after a lengthy illness.  She was living in Florida at the time of her death.  Pray for God's comfort and peace for this family as well during this time of great loss.

Prayers of thanks to God for allowing Denise Cox's mother to have a pain free day on Sunday which allowed her to have a nice Mother's Day.

Pastor Mike Phillips requests prayers for his 11 year old daughter Savannah who has been having abdominal cramps since last Friday.  They had gotten more severe and frequent since Friday which led to a trip to the emergency room on Sunday.  After testing there, nothing was really found.  She was seen by her pediatrician on Monday and then advised to be seen at Children's Hospital today.  Pray that the doctors will be able to diagnose and treat whatever is causing Savannah to be in such great pain.

Tina Minetto requests prayers for all of the US Armed Forces at home and abroad and especially for the missing three U.S. soldiers that are presently being searched for in Southern Iraq.  Pray for their safe recovery!

Ramona Hanson requests prayers for her niece Wendy.  She is entering into her second trimester of pregnancy and is now experiencing extreme cramping in her lower abdomen and back.  Please pray for God's will in this situation, for healing, and for continued courage and strength.  Also pray for the family as they rally around her to offer her their support and love.

Alice Wheeler requests prayers for Ronnie who has been suffering with cancer for the past four years.  He is under the care of Hospice now and waiting for the Lord to call him home.  Ronnie's wife is working very hard to stay strong and care for Ronnie.  Pray for God to continue to give her the strength to care for Ronnie and also that He would give her comfort and peace as she spends these last few days with her husband.

Please continue to pray for three year old Landon Morrill who is sick with leukemia and currently undergoing chemotherapy.  He is in need of a bone marrow transplant but does not have a suitable bone marrow donor.  There will be a benefit pancake breakfast for him at Applebee's in La Plata this Saturday, May 19th from 8:00-10:00 a.m.  Tickets are $5 each and will be available at the door.  All proceeds will go to help with Landon's medical expense.  Also the Red Cross is sponsoring a blood drive/bone marrow transplant registry this Thursday at the Waldorf Jaycees from 3:00-8:00 p.m.  Please pray that they are able to find a suitable bone marrow donor for Landon.
