Danette Jones requests prayers for her young 25 year old friend whose father passed away on Sunday at a very young age and had not accepted Christ. Danette's friend as well has not found Christ, although at a young age herself, there was very minimal introduction to faith. Please ask the Lord to bless her and her brother and mother during this time and give them the strength to seek and also to accept, when offered, the strength of the Lord to bring them closer to Him.
Ramona Hanson requests prayers for her mother, Joyce Call. She has been hospitalized since Monday, and they are trying to regulate her blood pressure which has been running too low. She is undergoing a battery of tests to determine what is causing her weakness and feeling as if she is going to pass out. She was also running a temperature.
Please pray for Ramona's father, Larry Call as he continues to battle COPD related issues. His health continues to decline. Lately, he has been questioning Ramona's mother with regard to God's ability to forgive him for all he has done in his past. He feels his sins are too great. Please pray God will reach him, and he will find God's comfort and grace, through salvation.
Please pray for Ramona's sister, Yvonne Barry. She has been diagnosed with Lyme's disease from a tick bite. The doctor's feel they caught it early enough, but her healing is being complicated by another medical issue. Please pray she is healed of this illness.
Alice Baggett would like prayers for her Aunt Charlotte from Ohio who recently had triple by-pass surgery. She is having complications and her kidneys are now failing. Please pray for healing for Charlotte and for strength for the family.
We have just received word from Sarah Poythress that there was an earthquake in Guatemala this afternoon. It was felt in the lake area where Sarah and some other mission team members are located this week. Everyone is accounted for and is fine but as can be expected, this was a frightening experience for all who felt the earthquake. Pray for the safety of all who may have been affected in any way by this earthquake. Pray also that the missionaries are able to travel safely back to Guatemala City.
