Prayer requests from today's service are as follows:
Shirley requests continued prayers for her brother's marriage and for her mom who has a touch of pneumonia.

Denise Cox requests prayers for Jennifer Ream who is in Germany and has been hospitalized with internal bleeding and is to undergo testing tomorrow.  Pray that the doctor's will be able to quickly figure out where the bleeding is coming from and that she will be well soon.

Ina requests prayers for Barbara who had a recent death in her family.

Dan Bouch's grandmother did pass away yesterday morning.  Pray for the family during this difficult time and also pray for traveling mercies for all those family members who will traveling to Pennsylvania for the funeral tomorrow.

Please be in prayer for the family of John who is on life support and is not expected to live.  Pray for peace for the family and for God's guidance as they make decisions on his behalf.

Pray for the person who is really searching for God.  Pray that she will be able to accept God as her Lord and Savior and that she will realize that those things that are difficult for her now can be turned over to God and that He will give her the strength and support and courage that she needs.

Please be in prayer for the two bus loads of youth from our church who will be traveling tomorrow to Houghton College in New York for the annual "Never the Same" Youth camp.  Pray for their safe travels to/from and that this would be a life changing experience for the youth.  Pray also for the leaders who will be traveling with our youth!

Many thanks to all of those folks who had signed up for the blood drive.  We had such a great number to sign up that we have 100% of the time slots filled in.  For those who are interested in donating blood and did not sign up, please still come out this Thursday, July 12th from 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Many, many thanks to those who signed up for the National Bone Marrow Registration Drive that will take place at New Life Church on Thursday, July 12th from 3:00-7:00 p.m. and on Sunday, July 15th from 1:30-5:00 p.m.  We have more than 80 people signed up so far!  Sign up is not mandatory to participate in the registration drive.   For those who are interested in participating, you may call the church office at (301) 609-8423 or info@newlifelaplata.org.
