Please be in prayer for the family and friends of Louise Garner who passed away earlier this week from a blood clot to her lung after surgery a week earlier. Louise was a very close family friend of the Watson family so we ask that you especially keep this family in your prayers as well as this is another huge loss for them.
Praise Report - The young teen (Alicia) we have been praying for who was involved in a serious auto accident two weeks ago is to be released from the hospital tomorrow so that she can finish her recuperation at home. Pray for her continued healing!
INFORMATIONAL ITEMS:
There is a young mom with two young children within our church who is looking for a temporary place for her and her two kids to live in the Mechanicsville area or south. This would just be for about three weeks. If anyone is able to help with this request, please contact Pastor Aaron Rummage at the church # (301) 609-8423.
MEN'S RETREAT - Make plans to register for the men's retreat which will take place on October 12th-13th in PG County. Deadline to register is October 2nd and registration forms are available at the church this weekend. The cost is $50 and includes dinner on Friday evening, breakfast and lunch on Saturday, site usage, etc. If anyone is available to help with cutting firewood for this retreat, make plans to meet at New Life Church on this Saturday, September 30th @ 8:00 a.m. For further information contact Jim Ross at (301) 751-6254.
