Denise Cox requests prayers for a friend's cousin (Cindy). Cindy is scheduled to have surgery to remove an Islet Cell VIPOMA this Friday morning at Johns Hopkins. She is flying from Kansas to have this surgery. Blood work that was taken back home last week, found that Cindy's hemoglobin level was way down. It was then determined that she has a bleed somewhere which needs to be located before she can have surgery on Friday. Pray that everything can be worked out so that Cindy can have this much needed surgery to remove the VIPOMA tumor.
Please be in prayer for Lou Deeb who has been battling cancer (in/out of remission) for more than four years and is scheduled to have further treatment on Monday. Monday's treatment is very risky because of all of the past treatments he has had for the cancer and if this treatment does not work, the doctors do not give him much hope. Some may recall Lou and Mary Ann who lived in the Charles County area and attended New Life Church and about four years ago moved to South Carolina. Praise report for both is that their lives have really turned around and Lou reports that he is really living for the Lord now!!
Prayers are requested by Denise Selkirk for her husband Gordon who is being seen and tested for a spot on his lung. Pray that the testing would reveal that the spot is nothing!
Pray for Ralph Dixon's wife Sally who had breast cancer surgery yesterday. Pray that the surgery and any further treatments would go well. Pray also for Sally's twin sister who was admitted to Civista yesterday with a broken arm and while being treated for the broken arm it was discovered that she has fluid around her heart and also something wrong with her kidneys. Pray for God's special healing on both of these ladies.
