Prayer Request/Update - Thursday, November 1st

Praise Report – Alicia (the young woman who was in the accident 6 weeks ago on 301 and Washington Ave in La Plata) stopped by the church office yesterday. She had just had the wires for her jaw removed and had progressed to walking with a cane. She still has some recovering to do, but the progress she has made so far is wonderful. She is a beautiful young woman and a strong Christian, who knows that the Lord had his hand upon her and still does. Continue to pray for further healing, strength, and courage for Alicia as she continues on the road to recovery.
Please be in prayer for the 35+ women from New Life who will be traveling to Ocean City, Maryland for a Ladies Conference. Pray for their safe travels to and from and that each one would enjoy a great time of fellowship, worshiping and hearing God's Word through speakers and others that they come in contact with this weekend.
RED CROSS BLOOD DRIVE - There will be a blood drive at New Life Church on Thursday, November 8th from 3:00 - 7:30 p.m. If there is anyone that is interested in donating blood, please call the church office at (301) 609-8423 or plan to sign up in the lobby at church this weekend.
