Doris Ball requests prayers for her grandmother, Elsie Taylor, who fell and severely fractured her hip yesterday. She is at St. Mary's Hospital and the doctor's have stated there is no way to repair her hip, she must have it replaced. The surgery is tentatively scheduled for tomorrow. Also pray for the family of Al Golding who passed away Thursday night after a long battle with cancer. There will be a memorial service tomorrow night at Williams Funeral Home in Indian Head.
Nancy Batten would like to ask for prayers for Deborah Plumley and her 6 yr old twins on the loss of Ray, spouse and father,41, yesterday after an undiagnosed tumor bled in his brain. He was an awesome provider in the Family Practice Clinic up here at Andrews. He will be very much missed. Prayers also for all those, who worked with him over the last number of years and that we will all feel the strength of the Lord to pull us all together. This is the second provider/friend this hospital has lost in only a few weeks and both in their 40s...they all need to feel the hand of God on thier shoulders to get them through this.
Please pray for a number of couples in our church that are having very serious marital problems at this time. It's clear that Satan is behind this attack on Gods very special union of a man and a woman. All are struggling with the situation and it's especially difficult at this time of joy and celebration of our Saviors birth. On the good side, there is no question whatsoever that God is in control and all will work towards His good in the end.
Please pray for Pastor James' grandmother who has been very ill.
Cheryl Hatch requests continued prayers for her family as they sit at her Dad's bedside. The doctors have said that it is only a matter of time before he leaves them. We had been praying for Cheryl's Dad, Colin Orpin, who went in for bypass surgery and while at the hospital suffered a massive stroke. Pray for strength for the family as they wait.
Please pray for a woman who is suffering from severe depression and anxiety. Pray that her doctors will be able to find the right treatment for her and that God will touch her in a mighty way.
