Update on Pam Roberts - Pam has been discharged from the hospital today and is feeling better. The doctors do feel that Pam has some sort of growth on her colon that will require surgery. Pam will be following-up with another doctor on Wednesday for another opinion. Please continue to pray for Pam's current medical situation.
Prayers are requested by Sarah Poythress for Immer and Pastor Juan - both are from Guatemala and involved in the IMPACTO Spanish Ministries:
Immer went to the hospital this past Monday for some tests. A few biopsies were taken and sent off with results expected by next Monday, March 24th. The doctors are concerned at what they saw during some of the tests. Immer was put on some medication that is pretty expensive and the doctors said depending upon the test results, surgery may be necessary. Of course, Immer is worried about the costs of medication and surgery, if that is, in fact, necessary. Please pray with us for God's healing hand to touch Immer and completely heal his body, for peace for Immer's financial concerns, and for his family as they, too, are worried about him.
Update on Pastor Juan - Pastor Carlos is going to take Pastor Juan to the doctor next week. The doctor has had a busy schedule and has not been able to set up Pastor Juan's surgery. He is hopeful of doing so next week. Please continue to pray for Pastor Juan, that he will not lose hearing in his one good ear, and for his eyes to continue to get better.
Elaine VanderLinden requests prayers for her mother (Eileen Tinberg) who has been experiencing itchness which doctors say is nerves and dry skin. Pray for Eileen to find some relief from this pain.
Elaine also requests prayers for her neighbor George - who lost his wife about three weeks ago unexpectedly after a routine surgery. Prayers are requested for George during this adjustment time.
