Update on Pam Roberts - Pam was released from the hospital late last week and is feeling better.  Pam did go to see a specialist yesterday and she will be having surgery on April 8th to have a portion of her colon removed.  She will most likely remain in the hospital for about five days to recover after surgery.  The doctors do not feel that there is any cancer involved but as a precaution will have biopsies done.  Please pray that God will guide the surgeons and pray for peace and calmness for Pam and her family as they await this upcoming surgery.  Pray also that her recovery after surgery is swift and successful.

Please pray for Renee VanCleaf's dear friend and neighbor, Randy, who has been hospitalized since March 15th with stomach pains and other complications.  The doctors are having trouble identifying the cause and a treatment for him.  Please pray that the doctors will be able to find the problem and provide the proper care to return him to good health and pray also for his family and friends at home who miss him.

Prayers are requested by someone for a friend who is addicted to smoking and really needs to quit.  This same person requests prayers for a friend who is coming off of drugs that were prescribed to him by a doctor.  Pray that these two friends would learn to really lean on God always but even more so now during periods of weakness so that they would not give into the temptation to smoke or take the drugs that they are so addicted to.  Ask God to help and protect them as they overcome these addictions.

Please pray for safety for the middle school youth and leaders from our church who are away on a two day retreat.  Pray also that God would really speak to these individuals in a mighty way and that their hearts would be open to whatever He wants them to hear and do.
