Sheri and Tom Raleigh report that their son Cooper made it through his surgery yesterday.  His surgeon, Dr. Yaun, said that the surgery went as planned.  They removed the brain tissue in the "seizure focal area" as planned which appeared spongy and abnormal (hopefully the culprit of the seizures).  Cooper is alert between the doses of morphine, he can talk, move his right side and has already asked for juice.  He will be in PICU for 24 hours or so.  Sheri and Tom say thanks to you all for staying right by their side during this journey.  They are thankful for each and everyone of you.  Please continue to keep Cooper in your prayers for a successful recovery from this major surgery and that he will be free from seizures.
