Update on Denise Cox's mom - Denise's mom was admitted to the hospital and will have further testing done due to the chest pains. She will be having an echo cardiogram soon. Praise God that she did not have any serious injuries related to her fall in the hospital. Please continue to pray for Denise's mom.
Please pray for Perci Pennerman and family as they mourn the death just yesterday morning of Perci's mom who had been battling cancer.
Prayers are requested for two year old Lilly Fennell who has a rare abdominal tumor. It has attached itself to her spine and she is unable to talk or walk and suffers from constant tremors. She will be having surgery today at Children's Hospital to hopefully remove the tumor. There is no word now on her prognosis.
Pray for a very close friend of Danette and Steven who has recently been diagnosed with cancer, most specifically, pancreatic, and it has metastasized to his liver and stomach. The friend is only 51 years old and most importantly, he is not a believer. His mother and step-father, 83 and 91, are both believers and are attempting to minister to him to bring him to Jesus before he leaves his earthly being. Please pray for his parents, his siblings and his nieces and nephews during this trying time. Please also pray that his parents' ministering will be successful and that our almighty God will spare him pain and help him to find his way home.
Praise God for what He has done in the life of Don and Barbara Moreland's granddaughter Jessica. On April 28,
2008 she was diagnosed with ALL Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia and the Philadelphia chromosome. Her counts have been 94.4% on 4.29, 75% on 5/7, 9% on 5/15, 4% on 6/30, .4% on 6/30. The latest one on 8/20 ........0%.
Hallelujah !! Doctors are saying all her cells are normal. She is still having some side affects, acid production in her stomach, etc. All of the prayers are working, they did find out Jessica will have to have radiation to her brain, eight treatments sometime down the road during maintenance. Her spirits are good and she is feeling as well as can be expected with all the chemo, but she is healed in the name of Jesus. Please continue to pray for her, she is so young only 19 and has a wonderful life to look forward to.
Update on P.S. They sedated him because of inserting a respirator, and tried unsuccessfully to wake him up. They are going to keep him sedated for two days, then try to wake him again. The three chemo treatments worked, they think, however the destroyed tumors and all the stuff flooded his system, and it is septic..so it may be killing him. We pray for a miracle! P.S. is a very bright light in his family and to his wife and friends.
