Please be in prayer for Chris Varela and family as they mourn the death this past weekend of Chris' mom (Sharon Ruth Varela). Chris' mom battled cancer for quite some time. Pray for God's comfort for the family today and in the days to come.
Pray for the young teen who is going through tough times and is in need of prayer.
Bev Deniston is home after having had surgery yesterday. Bev is doing well and will be home recuperating for a while now. Pray that her recuperation will go well and that she will be able to resume her normal activities soon.
Alice Baggett's cousin (Carol), who has problems with her liver and was originally told she had only six months to live, is in need of prayer. Carol was in the hospital for treatment and learned that the doctor who was treating her was not covered by her insurance. She is now home again and will need to find a doctor who participates with the insurance she is covered by. Pray that God would work out all of the details and guide Carol to a doctor who will be able to give her the treatment she needs and one that is covered by her insurance.
Alice Baggett also requests prayers for her family as they deal with the recent loss of one of Alice's cousins who was only 50 and died very unexpectedly.
Prayers are requested for a woman who is going through major depression. Pray that she would know to turn to and lean on God for the love and comfort and support that she needs to get through this.
P.S. who is only 40 yrs. old has been battling Lymphoma for years. After receiving the strongest chemo available, he was told his heart was functioning at 35%, and this would keep him from having a bone marrow transplant and any further chemo. HIS HEART IS NOW NORMAL! Praise God! His tumors have started to grow again, and he has an appointment at Johns Hopkins on Thurs., Dec. 18th to see the status of the possible bone marrow transplant (his last hope!) He has had quite a few miracles, and his family asks for prayers for more. The family knows that nothing is impossible with God!
