Please be in prayer for Denise Selkirk's 91 year old father-in-law who has been hospitalized with pneumonia for the last few days and is not expected to live.  The family is traveling to be near him during what is expected to be his last day or hours here.

Dear Family and Friends in Christ at New Life-
Don and I would like to take this opportunity to say how much we love you all and have been so encouraged by your prayers and gifts during the time our Jessica was with us.  We believe God was healing her and did not want to believe He would take her from us.  She was a beautiful, twenty year old girl, who had just begin her life here on earth.  But God had another plan for her and we have accepted it.  We want you all to know that Jessica received Jesus into her heart right there at New Life Church years ago when she, her sister Kimberly and cousin Amber came to church with us.  It was Communion Sunday and all three girls stood to receive communion.  We told them No, they had to have a clean heart and accept Jesus as their Savior and ask for His forgiveness.  Jessica did, Praise God.  We miss her so much, but we know that God opened the doorway to something glorious for her and even though she was a simple, non-materialistic person, we know that she is dwelling in His mansion in Heaven.  Jessica fought the good fight, she passed away on February 7th at 10:20 a.m.  Don and I and other family members were with her when she took her final breath, she was peaceful and not hurting anymore.  We know God's grace and mercy to be true because He has shown us that during this time.  Thank you all again, and know that miles may separate us now, but one day we will all be together again.  Love in Christ, Don and Barbara Moreland, SC.

 

Please be in prayer for the person who is having some major medical issues right now that do not sound promising but we know that God is in control!!  This person has been diagnosed with diabetes and it is a very bad case.  He has some kidney issues as well and possible leakage in the intestines, bladder, etc.  Please pray that the doctors can figure out what is causing all of the complications that this person is experiencing and that the diabetes can be kept under control with the proper medication and diet.
