Jennifer Abell requests prayers for one of the Charles County March of Dimes Team Captains and her family. She is 19 weeks pregnant with her third child and needs to feel the power of prayer.  Jennifer received an email earlier this week from her mother saying that she was having some difficulties and was at Washington Hospital Center. She has been diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia. The prognosis does not look good and she will begin intensive chemotherapy this week and will consequently be unable to carry the baby to full term.   Please remember this woman and her family in your prayers.

Please pray for a son-in-law of a friend;  Lindsey had finished radiation and chemo in Jan.  Several weeks ago he had an MRI at NIH and then back at Hopkins. Results, cancer back, so he may have surgery again in a week or so, not sure of final decision.  This brain cancer is really fast growing.  Also for Larry who has been in the hospital since Christmas.  Has had four operations, and is doing better.  Also for P.S. who will be having a scan to see if the tumors are reduced enough to have a mini bone marrow transplant.

Please be in prayer for Joe Cullen whose grandfather died this week. Pray for comfort and strength for the entire family.

Please pray for Ron and Nan Deal whose 12 year old son, Connor, died on February 17th after a sudden battle with staph sepsis pneumonia, ARDS (Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome), and Influenza. Ron was the speaker at the Step family Conference that was held at New Life last Sept.

Please be in prayer for the family of Mike Serbu who did pass away this evening after battling cancer.

Holly Waddell requests prayers for a friend whose sister has just been given about two months to live due to an aggressive cancer.  The sister is in her mid 30's, three young children and lives in Malaysia.  Pray for wisdom for this friend as she makes traveling decisions in the midst of great grief and pray for the sister and her family at this pending loss.
