Please be in prayer for Laura Lawndy's mom who has been in hospitalized in ICU since earlier this week with internal bleeding. She has had many, many tests run to determine the source of the bleed and to see what other problems she is experiencing. The doctors believe the bleed is coming from esophagi tis or possibly an ulcer. Her white blood counts are also elevated which could indicate an infection somewhere. As of today, it does seem Laura's mom is some better as her white blood count has dropped some (from 43,000 to 29,000 and 10,000 is normal). This means that the antibiotic she is on is attacking whatever bacteria is in her system. Plans were to do an endoscopy today to get a better look at what is going on and to put in a feeding tube which will bypass the stomach and go straight to the small intestines. As you can see from the above information, her medical situation is very critical. Please pray that the doctors would receive God's guidance as they determine how to best treat Laura's mom.
Diane Dixon would like us to pray for her sister Susan who is in very critical condition. Susan had her gallbladder removed last July and this week had some stones removed from her liver. This should have been a rather routine procedure and it was thought that she would be able to go home but then Susan aspirated and her condition worsened. She is currently on a respirator. The family is very concerned and would like us to pray for her return to good health.
Please be in prayers for Katie who is married and has three young children (ages 3 & 5). Katie was just diagnosed with a very aggressive form of leukemia and was 19 weeks pregnant. Her pregnancy ended yesterday due to her serious health situation. If the cancer has not spread to all parts of her body and if heavy-duty chemo works and if everything else goes well, the doctors are giving her a 60% survival rate. Katie and family are all devastated. Chemo begins tomorrow and family also will find out if the cancer has spread to her brain. Please lift Katie up in prayer as well as her family during this difficult time and pray for the miracle of healing that we know is possible!!
Please pray for the couple who suffered a miscarriage of their first child last week. Pray they know God IS in control!
Praise report - Dale and Jennifer Jones are the proud parents of a new baby girl (Sophia Marie). Mom and baby are doing great!
Gina Williams would like to share a praise report on her sister Rose. Rose accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and she is filled with joy for the first time in years. She is feeling much better physically and even more important spiritually. Praise God for this wonderful praise report about Rose.
