Most will remember young Katie Garlock who for some time had been quite ill and has in the past attended New Life Church and has been a true blessing to many over the years.   Katie is doing well but does have some permanent health issues related to all of her illnesses from earlier in her life.  She is fortunately able to attend school on a regular basis.    Katie's parents Vicki & John Garlock would like to be able to attend church more regularly and in order to do so could use some assistance with Katie.  Katie enjoys and can sit through the worship portion of the service.  It is really hard for Katie to be able to sit through the remainder of the service without a great deal of restlessness and causing her parents to be worried about the possible disturbance to those sitting near her.  For this reason, we are looking for a few folks that would be willing to sit with Katie in the conference room in the admin. building after the worship portion of the Saturday evening services so that her parents can remain in the sanctuary and hear the rest of the service.  The Garlocks prefer to attend Saturday evening services.  If anyone is interested in helping out with this special request, please call the church office at (301) 609-8423 for further information.
