Karen Webb shares the following information - "Kairos is a Prison Ministry whose mission is to bring Christ's love and forgiveness to all incarcerated individuals, their families and those who work with them, and to assist in the transition of becoming a productive citizen.  Having said that, I will be part of a Kairos team from April 30 - May 3 and will be going into the women's jail in Jessup. It is my hope that our team will be able to provide hope to these women and an understanding of the love and forgiveness of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I am looking for people that will dedicate 1/2 hour of their time and pray for the team as well as the women in Jessup. This vigil will begin at 4 pm Thurs April 30 and end at 4 pm Sunday May 3. If you are interested in offering 30 minutes of your time to pray for us, please email me with your preferred day and time so that I can include you on the scroll that we will be creating to show these women how many people are praying for them each day. This scroll is a very powerful means to show them the love of God through so many different people.  Feel free to email or call me (301-643- 8819) if you would like more information.  God bless each of you!"

Stephanie Dixon would like us to please continue to pray for her boss, Dennis Holden.  Dennis is still hospitalized.  An unknown abnormality was found during tests of his spinal fluid last week.  More tests to come.  Please pray for a diagnosis so the family can move from the scary, frustrating unknown.  Please pray for strength and comfort for Dennis and his family and for those at jis work who anxiously await word and desperately want good news.  Also, please pray for Stephanie because she is the leader in his absence and Stephanie recently lost a coworker and friend unexpectedly and she is not sure she could handle the possibility of losing another.

Colleen Bell requests prayers for Caleigh Moran who was taken to Calvert Memorial Hospital with a staph infection and required emergency surgery Friday evening.  She is the granddaughter of Kelly Deese and the daughter of Jessi and Steven Moran.  Pray that Caleigh will be able to return home soon with a complete healing.

Denise Cox shares an update on her mother-in-law who is not able to have the filter done so will be coming to MD on the medicine which she will need 24/7 care - which the family believes is an answer to prayer now.

Denise also shares that her brother had a fall which may have caused the stroke or was because of the stroke.  He hit his head and it bled.  Now they pray for the blood to be absorbed back into the body so his artery which is partially blocking in his neck will not need surgery.
