Please be in prayer for family members of Fran and George Smith who are going through some medical issues.  Daughter Marissa injured her leg during a volleyball game last month and had an MRI done which showed a torn piece of cartilage in her knee.  She will be having surgery next Wednesday and will then have a month recovery time.  Marissa's son is also in a full leg cast with a fractured ankle.  Another one of the Smith's daughters (Michelle) has not been feeling well for a while and had some blood work done recently.  The doctor called and told her all of her blood counts are very low and that she would have to come in for further blood work which is being done today.  There was a concern about her bone marrow possibly shutting down.  This is a concern since Fran had a bone marrow disease for which she had a bone marrow transplant.  Pray for the health of all mentioned and also for the family and parents who are concerned.

Update - P.S. is not doing well at Georgetown and it seems the doctors are pretty much giving up on him.   Pray for God's will in this situation and for freedom from pain for P.S. as well as God's peace and comfort for the family and close friends who are concerned for him.
