Please be in prayer for Vivian Waters' sister-in-law, Pat Lanham.  Pat has a growth on her neck that will be removed August 24th.  The doctors wont know until surgery what the growth is.  Pray that Pat will come through this surgery without any problems.  pat is a believer and knows that God will take care of her.

Please pray for the Nairn family for peace and comfort in the death of George Nairn's father, George Nairn, Sr. Funeral arrangements are as follows: The viewing is Monday 8/24 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at Lee Funeral Home in Clinton; the funeral is Tuesday 8/25 at 11:30, also at Lee Funeral Home. The Nairns want to thank everyone who prayed for him while he was sick, your prayers were a huge help to him and to the family.

Lynn Treadway requests prayers for her friend Karen, who is placing her mother in a nursing home this afternoon. This is going to be a very difficult thing for her to do and she is not getting support from her siblings in getting her mother settled. Please pray for strength, comfort and peace for Karen. Pray that her mother will settle in quickly and not feel that she is being abandoned.
