Update on Denise McMahan's surgery today.  The surgeons did remove her thyroid and some tumors around the thyroid which before surgery were tested and were found to be benign and after surgery will be sent for further testing to make sure they are benign.  The surgeons feel that everything went really well and are expecting a good recovery from surgery.  Denise will remain hospitalized overnight and will return home by sometime tomorrow.

Karen Wagnon requests prayers for her mom who will be having surgery on October 16th to have her left lung removed.  The great concern is for her mom's heart to which they are waiting to hear from her heart doctor now.  Pray for Karen's mom as she awaits her surgery and for the success of the surgery on the 16th.
