Please pray for Dave Monk and his family at the passing of his father, Bob Monk.   Bob had lung/brain cancer. There will be a memorial service this Sat, 24 Oct, at Donaldson Funeral Home, 1411 Annapolis Road, Odenton, MD. (410-672-2200) The family will receive visitors from 10a - 11a, and the service will begin at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to Hospice of the Chesapeake. http://www.hospicechesapeake.org/
Condolence cards may be sent to Dave Monk at 7795 Traeleigh Lane,
Charlotte Hall, MD 20622 and to Dave's mother, Bonnie Monk, at 520 Joann Drive, Odenton, MD 21113.

Don will be getting the results of tests Tuesday to determine the state of his stage 4 cancer.  He is in his early forties and has a young family.

P.S. will be having yet another biopsy as the chemo has done nothing for the huge tumor on his neck.  They are considering radiation, which would result in the loss of saliva glands.  P.S.'s father is now suffering from very high blood pressure.

Carol is awaiting results of her biopsy on the lump in her chest.

Cheryl Holden would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers for Alicia.  She came home from the hospital Saturday night and is doing so well, as is the baby.  Praise the Lord!

Please be in prayer for Carrie Hayden's mom who has been hospitalized in critical condition since last week and has now been diagnosed with MRSA.  Pray for her complete recovery!

Prayers are requested for Greg Armstrong who had a heart catherization last week and it showed that one of his valves has plaque on it and will require him to have open heart surgery.  Surgery date has not yet been determined.  Pray for the success of this surgery and for a good/quick recovery after surgery.

Pray for Ruby Ross-Gilliam who is searching for employment and is hoping today to be able to claim a job.
