SNOW THIS WEEKEND:
With the weather forecast of heavy snow for this weekend, we are watching closely the weather updates and will determine if any cancellations here at church will be necessary.  We will post updates on the church answering machine (301-609-8423) and on the church website (www.newlifelaplata.org).

Some information we know now:

• Pastor Mike will be recording the weekend message this evening (Dec. 18th) at 8:30 p.m. after the 7:00 p.m. Children's Christmas musical.  Anyone is welcome to come to the church this evening to hear the message while it is being recorded.
• We have learned from the Charles County Public School System that all schools are closed this weekend.  For this reason, we will not hold a 10:30 service at La Plata High School on Sunday.  We recommend that instead you plan to attend the 10:30 service at the main church campus sanctuary on Sunday. 
• Our Food Drive Distribution which was scheduled to take place on Saturday, December 19th has been postponed to Tuesday, December 22nd from 9:00 a.m. - noon.  If you were signed up to volunteer to help with the food distribution and would still like to help on Tuesday, please plan to be here at the church by 8:30 a.m.
