Prayers are requested by Elaine Vanderlinden for her mom who turns 96 on New Year's Eve and who is currently in the hospital in North Carolina.  The doctors are going to keep her in the hospital for about three days for evaluation and will determine if it is in her best interest to still live at home by herself or not.  Pray for the doctors and for her family as the need for some major decisions may be necessary.

Meryle Wilkerson requests prayers for her friend Carla who was taken by ambulance today.  Pray for wisdom for the doctors as they determine what is wrong with Carla and that she would be returned to good health soon.
