DeAnna Treadway shares an update to a recent prayer request. DeAnna's brother, Tommy, is doing much better since his vehicle accident. DeAnna's Uncle Willie, who is in ICU has opened his eyes and was able to respond to things around him using his eyes to communicate. The doctors removed the ventilator for a short time to allow him to breath on his own and he was able to do so. PRAISE GOD! They are still using the ventilator, but he is doing part of the breathing for himself as well. On Friday, he was taken into surgery to remove a pocket of infection and once the doctors began, they found numerous pockets that they have removed and are sending for a biopsy. Please pray that these are benign and that he will recover quickly now that they have been removed. Thank you for the many prayers and please continue to lift him up to God.
Sydney Monk's pulmonologist confirmed recent tests showing her large lung capacity has increased from 60% to 81% and her small lung capacity has increased from 39% to 47%! Additionally, her endocrinologist is very pleased with her blood sugar numbers and has approved a NO insulin plan to control the diabetes using strict diet monitoring and exercise. Sydney, now 9, is excited that her A1C was 6.1! Sydney's parents would like to thank everyone who has prayed for her over the last 8-1/2 years. Please join them in praising God for His healing powers and pray for His continued favor on Sydney as her healing continues to manifest!
Robin Karis requests prayers for her friend, Trish who lives in Virginia and is going to have a biopsy to test for possible lung cancer on March 1, 2010. Please pray for God's healing touch and that His peace will surround Trish and her family so that there is no room for fear.
Please pray for Denise McMahan’s father, Frank, who is in the hospital with an abdominal obstruction, that it is healed without surgery. Glory to God for the healing He has done in Frank’s life and for the healing yet to come.
Jenn Legacy's Grandma is still hospitalized and has been diagnosed with a bowel obstruction which Praise God can be resolved without any surgery. Praises and prayers for continued healing for Jenn's grandma!
Please pray for Amanda Shelley's mother, Alexandra Chavasse. She has been having severe headaches and pain in her neck for more than a month now in which the pain has been getting progressively worse. She has had a series of tests done and they have found a multi-level bulging disc in her neck and abnormalities on her thyroid. She just had a sonogram done yesterday of her thyroid and is waiting to find out what the next step will be, but until then she is still in a lot of pain. Please pray that the nodules on her thyroid are not cancerous and that God gives wisdom to the doctors and they are able to find quick resolve. Please pray for healing and for the pain to subside.
