Christmas in April and Living Water are joining up to enhance the lives of four families in Nanjemoy.  This year's Christmas in April will take place on Saturday, April 24th.  Some of the work on the four houses will include:  paining, yard work, cleaning, trash pick up, construction, siding, roofing or just a smile.  There will be an informational meeting on Tuesday, April 20th at 6:00 p.m. at New Life Church in the Chapel Building to learn more of the specifics of Saturday's work day.  For more information contact Gloria Lakner at (301) 934-7007 or the church office at (301) 609-8423.

One of four families includes a grandmother who is now raising her four grandchildren and one of the granddaughters has cancer.  This family had a fire to their house some time ago and most of the work to be done on Saturday will be clean up and repair from the fire.  Some specific items needed for this family is as follows:
2 full size beds and mattresses
Nightstands
Bedding for full size beds
Towels
Wash Cloths
Dining room table and chairs
Living Room Furniture
All Clothing Needed for:
Girls' sizes - 5, 7 & 8
Boy size 10

The above items can be dropped off at New Life Church anytime between now and Saturday!
