Prayer Requests - Saturday, June 26th

Sandy Blizzard requests prayers for her husband's brother Rev. David Blizzard of Greenville, S.C. He had two major surgeries last week and is in serious condition. Pray for his healing so he can continue to do what he lives for - to work for our Lord and Savior.
Jessica Strong has several prayers requests:
1. An acquaintance has been battling breast cancer. The most recent report from the doctor, it's moved into her lymph nodes and she has 6-12 months to live without treatment. She is going in for surgery tomorrow. Please pray for her successful surgery and recovery so she may continue to be a mother to her 5 year old son.
2. A neighbor found out this morning she has a lump in one breast. The sonogram shows shadows in her other. The doctors are biopsying the lump and investigating still. Pray for good results and the doctors that treat her. Pray for their strength and peace through this tumultuous time.
3. A friend has a 2 year old son Levi who was diagnosed with RSV (respiratory syncytial virus) which is a very serious and very contagious illness that can last for years. The treatment is a series of monthly injections etc. This family is on government assistance and does not have regular health insurance. Please pray for sound medical treatment,
4. Jessica's sister-in-law's friend and coworker Greg Washam passed away last week from an enbolism and subsequent stroke, his family will not be receiving any death benefits from the police department (Shreveport LA). While he was a LtCol in the military reserve program and they will receive some money from that, this hinders their immediate financial stability. There is a blessing in his passing, the doctors said his body could give life to as many as 9 people, he was an organ donor. Please pray for them that they will see God's blessings through this challenging and hard time.
Kim Robertson asks us to pray for the families of the two young people recently involved in a car accident. One is currently in shock trauma hospital and other did pass away from his injuries. Pray for healing for the one hospitalized and for God's comfort for the family of the person that passed away.
