Prayer Requests - Friday, September 24th

Prayers are requested for Rose who was diagnosed with stomach cancer on August 17th. She had surgery on September 2nd and the doctors determined that the cancer is a large tumor and it has spread to lymph nodes in the area near the stomach. The tumor is too large to remove at this time, so they will do chemo first to try to shrink it. She started her first chemo treatment last Thursday, which was infused over 4 days. She is not doing well now that the first treatment is over due to her other medical issues (i.e. lung, heart and circulation issues). She has a rough road ahead of her. Through God all things are possible. May His wisdom be accepted and understood by the doctors to treat and comfort Rose; may Rose come to know God, if she hasn’t already, and may she lean on Him for comfort and strength; and may God’s will be done. Prayers are also requested for Rose’s daughter who will be traveling from Va. to Pa. frequently to help out as she can.
Prayers are requested for a friend of Gina Williams who is on dialysis with serious kidney problems.
