Please be in prayer for Nancy Batten's granddaughter Summer.  She had surgery to repair her thum she broke in three places.  She wears the temporary cast and will see the orthopedic doctor again the 14th of February for a more solid one to support the pins they had to put in.  Prayers for strength and quick healing are requested for Summer.

Nancy would also like prayers for a co-worker who had surgery to remove a cancerous problem that was recently diagnosed.  Prayers for comfort and healing during the chemo and that she comes through it all feeling God's arms surrounding her with His love.

Kathy Rummage requests prayers for her friend Sharon who was recently diagnosed with colon cancer.  She will undergo a second (and much more extensive) surgery tomorrow.  They anticipate that the procedure will take about 11 hours.  Please pray for peace for the patient and her family, and that God will guide the surgeon's hands.
