Dona Batten requests prayers for a friend of the family. He is going through some serious health issues and the doctors have yet to get to the bottom of them. He is due for an MRI of his brain today. They do know that, for whatever reason, his body is starting to eat his muscles. They also think he's had a mild stroke. He is having huge blood pressure swings so medicine is out of the picture right now as it can cause him to die with these swings. Rich is only in his 30's. I just ask for prayers that the doctors are able to find out quickly the cause and are able to help him heal through our Lord and Savior, Jesus.
Update on Antonio Mendez: The procedure yesterday did not go well and could not be completed. The doctors are meeting and are to tell Antonio when he will face open heart surgery. Please continue to keep Antonio and his family lifted in prayer. Several have asked if they could send a contribution to help with medical expenses. Prayers are requested for Maria Knittel who will be having exploratory surgery on June 1st in Illinois. Pray for the success of this surgery and for recovery after.
Prayers are requested for Peggy Swann who lost her husband a few weeks ago and has just learned that her sister passed away in an automobile accident. Her sister leaves behind young children. Pray for God's comfort for Peggy and family as they mourn the loss of two family members.
