Prayers for Nancy Batten as her shoulder replacement surgery is canceled for a second time.  Hyperthyroidism is a new diagnosis and they don’t want to chance the surgery until this is cleared up.  Prayers for patience and strength at the same time, as she sees the endocrinologist at Bethesda to come up with a plan of action, and prayers for pain relief for the shoulder, as the surgery has been put off indefinitely. 

Sharon Thurman requests prayers for her mom who was transported to Georgetown yesterday.  They are uncertain as to how long she will be there as they remove the fluid from her stomach and whether or not there is another mass.  Pray also for Sharon's stepsons whose mother passed away last Wednesday night having lost her battle with cancer.  Pray for this family as they have been under tremendous difficulties over the past few weeks.
