Funeral information for Joan Hewitt is as follows:
Visitation - Huntt Funeral Home (Waldorf, MD) Thursday, September 1st from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm.
Life Celebration - New Life Church Chapel Building Friday, September 2nd @ 10:00 am.
Meal immediately following the Life Celebration Service in the Dome Building Sanctuary.
If anyone would like to provide a dish for the meal, you may drop it off to the church on Thursday from 3-6 pm or Friday from 8:30 until the time of the meal.  For further information about the meal, you may call Gloria Lakner at (240) 273-8900 or call the church office at (301) 609-8423.
Please keep Joan's family (husband Godfrey and daughters Nadya and Meghan) in prayer during their time of great loss.

Update on Dick Ludke - Dick had neck surgery today and is now out of surgery.  As you will recall, he fell 30' last Wednesday and has been hospitalized since.  Please pray for complete healing from the fall/surgery.  Pray that the family would be surrounded with the peace of the Lord.  Pray that Dick and Kathy would know to totally lean upon the Lord for strength and healing.

Pray for Michelle who is a mother of four boys.  She is a non-smoker and is scheduled to have a spot removed from her lung tomorrow.  Pray for the family and for good results from the biopsy and for a quick recovery from tomorrow's procedure.

Pray for the family who needs faith and strength that comes from our Lord.
